Independent practice tool: this is a lightweight 2D warm-up built for the website, not the SHOTS FIRED 3D game engine. It does not award crystals, score or campaign progress. There are no ads or purchases in the drill.
Track a moving target for 30 seconds
Click or tap the circular target to register a hit. Clicking or tapping anywhere else inside the range registers a miss. Each hit moves the target to another position; at higher speeds, it also shifts automatically. Keyboard users can focus the target button with Tab and activate it with Enter or Space. The exercise can help you develop controlled cursor placement before opening the game.
Press Start to activate the practice target.
Your drill results stay in this browser tab. They are not submitted to the game or to a server.
Make the practice useful
- Round one: select stationary until hit and prioritize clean, deliberate clicks.
- Round two: select measured. Avoid sudden overshooting; anticipate the next position before moving the pointer.
- Round three: select quick. Aim for control, not just a high hit count. Compare accuracy between rounds.
Transfer the skill to SHOTS FIRED
The web game's camera and reticle behave differently from a 2D browser button, so drill results are not a predictor of in-game score. Once you feel comfortable tracking, open Flight Training, practice using mouse look and primary fire, and check the HUD for hull changes. The controls guide lists exact desktop keys.
