Before you start: SHOTS FIRED is a browser-based WebGL game. The diagnostic below checks local browser features only. A positive result doesn't prove the game will run smoothly, and a failed result may reflect a browser policy, remote-desktop environment or restricted graphics driver.
Run a quick browser check
Click the button to test JavaScript execution, a WebGL context, and your browser's reduced-motion preference. The result is calculated on your device; this page does not upload a hardware fingerprint or performance score.
Test not run yet. You can still use the troubleshooting checklist below.
If the screen remains black or the game won't start
- Try a current browser: update Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, then reload the game page.
- Check graphics settings: WebGL may be disabled by browser flags, corporate policy, drivers or a virtual desktop. Enable hardware acceleration where available and restart the browser.
- Check the network: the game downloads models and audio. It also references a third-party module CDN; blocked CDN requests can prevent loading. Try a reliable connection and test without an aggressive script blocker.
- Lower workload: close extra GPU-heavy tabs and applications. Avoid running many WebGL games simultaneously.
- Mobile devices: rotate the screen if controls are cramped, close other memory-heavy apps, and prefer a supported desktop browser if gameplay is still difficult.
If movement or firing does not respond
On desktop, click the game canvas to capture the pointer if your browser requests it. Press Escape to release or pause. Check whether focus is inside a text field or another window. Consult the actual in-game key mapping. On touch screens, use the on-screen controls and a short movement rather than a large drag when learning the response.
If a mission fails or progress is lost
Do not assume a browser refresh is a save operation. The supplied game includes checkpoint-related logic and optional network calls, but account or checkpoint behavior can depend on the current service connection. Before clearing browser data, take note of the current mission and contact support if necessary. Do not send passwords, tokens or personal documents in a bug report.
Report a reproducible problem
Send the device type, browser version, exact page URL, observed message, and actions that led to it to wildgames1028@gmail.com. If you can, note whether this compatibility test found WebGL support. We do not need your full browser diagnostic export or personal account details.
